More from the "Garden"

I planted 50 sunflowers, and got 1. Birds!

The Jerusalem artichokes are huge...no flowers yet, though.

The giant pumpkin is absurd. Can't mow.

And in the end, I had better get more pumpkin than this pitiful little thing.

That's funny because we have a bed full of sunflowers which grew there by accident - the bed is directly under our bird feeders and the sunflower seeds which brought forth these beauties are the birds leftovers!!!

Hmmmm...I planted our first sunflowers this year all I got was squirrels. They are crazy -- yesterday we watched one jump on the flower and chew off a leaf. No one warned me that we would get that! I need to take pictures ASAP because I don't think it's going to last much longer. The flower head is drooping already.
